Learn the craft in a room built for the craft.

Akademia CEM trains hairdressers, nail technicians and estheticians in three working studios — not in a borrowed classroom. Theory in the morning, your own station in the afternoon, live models when you are ready for them.

About the academy

A salon-grade room is part of the lesson.

Most of what separates a confident professional from a nervous one is hours — hours at a real station, with real equipment, under someone who corrects the hand before the habit sets. That is what the academy was built to give.

Equipped for the work, not for the photo

Marble-top nail desks with lamps and e-files, five treatment beds behind a curtain, mirrored cutting stations and backwash units. Students train on the tools a salon actually buys.

Anatomy before technique

The charts on the studio walls are there to be used. Every program starts with the structure underneath — nail matrix, skin layers, hair and scalp — so that technique has a reason behind it.

Small groups, close correction

Nobody shares a station and nobody watches from the back. Groups are kept to the number of workstations in the room.

Programs

Three crafts, taught in their own room.

Each program runs theory alongside daily practice. Intake dates and fees are confirmed on request — write to us and we will send the current schedule.

Anatomy and physiology, dermatology basics, sterilisation and hygiene, professional ethics, client communication, and the practical business of running a chair or a cabin — taught in the classroom, then applied the same week in the studio.

How we teach

The same four steps, on every technique.

This order is the method — a technique is not considered learned until it has come back around to the fourth step.

01

Understand the structure

What is underneath the surface you are about to work on, and what it will and will not tolerate.

02

Watch it done, up close

A full demonstration at the station, at working speed, with the reasoning said out loud.

03

Repeat it under correction

Practice heads, hands and models — with the instructor correcting posture and pressure while the habit is still forming.

04

Do it for a client

A booked live model, start to finish: consultation, service, aftercare advice, and the room left ready for the next one.

Instructors

Taught by people who still work the chair.

Each studio is led by a working professional in that discipline.

Announcements

Intakes, live classes and academy news.

Everything currently open or coming up. Enrolled students also receive these in the student portal.

Intake

Autumn intake — Nail Technology

Applications are open for the autumn group. Places are limited to the number of workstations in the studio, so the list closes as soon as it is full.

Live class

Live: gel structure and apex correction

Streamed from the nail studio for enrolled students. The recording is added to the class library the same evening for anyone who cannot attend.

Academy

New apparatus in the Face & Body cabin

The private cabin is now equipped for apparatus work, and the module has been extended in the Esthetics program from this intake onwards.

Student portal

Your classes, your recordings, your account.

Every enrolled student gets an account. Sign in to join the class that is running now, catch up on one you missed, and settle your fees without coming in.

Live classes

When a class is streaming from the studio, it appears at the top of your dashboard with a countdown and a join button.

Recorded lessons

When nothing is live, the library takes over: every past class for your program, organised by module, watchable as many times as you need.

Fees and payments

Your balance, what is due next, and a receipt for everything already paid. Pay by card, by bank transfer, at reception — or by PayPal if you are paying from abroad.

Student sign in

Accounts are created when you enrol. You will receive your sign-in details by email together with your confirmation.
